From the start of the route, head south into the grass and pick up the Elixir over in the corner. Further west, there's some thick grass as well as a Roughneck with a Krokorok L43. West of him is a Nugget, while south and towards the ruins of the Challenger's Cave is anIron. Additionally, there's a Dark Gem hidden in the forested area to the south.

Now go back to the entrance and fight the Roughneck right above you, by a vending machine. He has a Scraggy L43. The nearby Biker uses a Pawniard L43. Shopping Mall Nine can be found right above him, which may be worth checking out if you'd like to do some shopping for cool items!

Otherwise, head west and pick up the Quick Ball, then fight the Biker around it. He's got a Skorupi L43. Just past him are a band of Hooligans that will fight you in a Double Battle, using a Krookodile L42 and a DrapionL42. Take them down, then pick up the HP Up they were guarding.

You can enter the gateway to the Tubeline Bridge, but you won't be able to actually go onto it until after you've beaten the game. Oh well.

If you haven't already checked out the Shopping Mall Nine, you should scroll up and do that now. Otherwise, heal up your Pokemon, then head on over to the Opelucid Gym!

Also, directly to the west of Shopping Mall Nine is a Hidden Grotto.
