70. Skyarrow Bridge, Pinwheel Forest

Skyarrow Bridge

Now that you've beaten the game, you can finally cross the Skyarrow Bridge to the east ofCastelia City to make your way to the southern part of Unova.
The bridge itself is very straightforward. There's a man you'll run into on the bridge who will offer to sell you Fresh Water for $300 — not particularly a good deal. If you decline, he'll try even harder to sell it to you, which can be rather amusing.
As the bridge starts to spiral over on the other side, there's a thirsty man who is in need of some Fresh Water. How convenient! If you give him some, he'll dash off to the Driftveil Drawbridge. If you give him Fresh Water there, then at the Tubeline Bridge, then at the Village Bridge, then the Marvelous Bridge, then the Marine Tube, he'll give you a dozen Moomoo Milkwhen you talk to him on the Skyarrow Bridge after doing all of that.
Keep following the bridge until you reach the gate leading into Pinwheel Forest.

Right near the entrance is a Preschooler using a Wooper L60 and a Tympole L60. Just past him, you'll find a Hiker and a man running back and forth, although neither will battle you. There's also a man blocking an opening in the fence, preventing you from proceeding; he won't move right away, but be sure to return there later on, as there's more to the forest past him.
Head south and fight the Nursery Aide, who uses an Exeggcute L61 and a Miltank L61. Past her is another Preschooler, this one using a Dratini L59, a Gible L59, and a Bagon L59, while there's yet another Preschooler on the other side running around, using a Burmy L59, a Scyther L59, and a Paras L59.
Keep heading south and you'll see an opening leading into the thick of the forest, along with a familiar friend standing inside. It's Cheren! Before you talk to him, go on over and fight theTwins to the east in a Double Battle. They use a Plusle L60 and a Minun L60. Just past them is the exit of the forest, which leads you to the outer portion of Pinwheel Forest.
Before leaving, you definitely want to talk to Cheren and see what else there is to see in the forest. When you approach Cheren, he'll say some stuff and then ask if you'd like to tag along. Say Yes and he'll join your team, meaning any fights from here on in are Double Battles. You may still be able to talk to Trainers rather than run into their line of sight to fight them individually, though.
Cheren leads with his Stoutland L67, although will use a Cinccino L65 and a Watchog L65 should his Pokemon faint.
The first two Trainers you'll run into are a Nursery Aide and a Preschooler. The Nursery Aide has a Chansey L61 and a Leavanny L61, while the Preschooler has a Pineco L60 and a FerrothornL60. Just past them and to the south is a PKMN Ranger, using a Sudowoodo L62, a Gloom L62, and a Beartic L62. She'll give you a Sitrus Berry after beating her, plus there's a Max Repelright nearby her.
A little further to the west and you'll find another PKMN Ranger. He uses a Weepinbell L62, aLuxray L62, and an Ursaring L62. He'll give you a Sitrus Berry as well.

The Mossy Rock

Leafeon SpriteThe mossy rock nearby the PKMN Ranger plays an importance if you're looking to evolve your Eevee into a certain evolution. When your Eevee gains a level while it is nearby that rock, such as by fighting against wild Pokemon or by using a Rare Candy, it will cause it to evolve into Leafeon. This is the only place in the game that you can evolve your Eevee into Leafeon, too.
Head west until you leave the fenced area, although take a quick spin to the south to pick up an Ultra Ball in the grass. Run on through the woods and you'll find a Youngster, who's got aMankey L60, a Crawdaunt L60, and a Snubbull L60. Just barely to the west of him is a blank patch of grass that holds a hidden Ultra Ball. Further north is a Max Revive sitting in a tree stump.
Walk through the hollow log to the north and then continue until you find a PKMN Ranger. He uses an Electrike L62, a Rapidash L62, and a Farfetch'd L62. He'll give you a Lum Berry after your victory.
Climb up to the ledge, then take another log to the north to reach two Veterans. You'll have to fight them in a Double Battle due to their position. The man uses a Ludicolo L64, an ElectivireL64, and a Forretress L64, while the lady uses a Crobat L64, a Magmortar L64, and a LeafeonL64. They can be rather challenging if you're not properly prepared.
Past them is a Net Ball sitting in a tree stump. Right after that is a fork in the road, with one path leading up through a hollow tree, while the other is south and into some grass. Start by going south and climb down the two steps so you're right by the lake. Keep following the path until you see two Trainers. The Youngster uses a Cascoon L60, a Scolipede L60, and a SilcoonL60, while the Lass uses a Nidoran♀ L60, a Nidoqueen L60, and a Nidoran♂ L60. You can fight them separately or in a Double Battle. Continue past the two Trainers and you'll find a hiddenBalmMushroom, which can be sold for an impressive $25,000 if you sell it to the maid onRoute 5.
Return to the fork in the road, except this time head north and through the log. Up there, you'll be surprised by one of the Seven Sages, Gorm. He and Cheren will talk for a little bit before Gorm walks off. After some more talk, Cheren will give you the Up-Grade, which allows you to evolve Porygon if you have it hold the item and then trade it. He'll then leave your party, leaving you on your own again. While you're in the little clearing, head north to pick up TM86 (Grass Knot), although you'll first have to fight a PKMN Ranger, who uses a Munchlax L62, aZebstrika L62, and a Kricketune L62. At least she'll give you a Lum Berry after beating her.
Head on over to the east and you'll find a ledge that you can jump down that'll take you back to the main road. However, the guy that was previously blocking the fence is now gone, so enter the area to the east and you'll find where the thick grass is. There's a hidden Green Shard located in an empty patch in the grass to the west.
Go east and you'll find a Youngster. He's got a Phanpy L60, a Fearow L60, and a Doduo L60. From here, there's another fork in the road. Heading to the north and through the log takes you over to a little clearing. To the east, through another log and then to the north, is a Bug Gem. Directly to the east of that, all the way across, you'll find a Sun Stone. While not technically hidden, it's nestled in the trees pretty well, making it hard to see.
The Rumination Field can be visited in the northern part of this little area, but there's only a PKMN Ranger there talking about Virizion and there's not actually anything to see or do there...
Back at the fork in the road by the Youngster, head south and follow the path until it splits again. Taking the eastern path leads you straight to TM22 (SolarBeam), a powerful Grass-type move that requires a turn of charging, unless the weather is sunny out. Over to the east is a hidden Rare Candy by the big tree.
Surf across the water over to the west of the hidden Rare Candy and underneath the bridge to reach the PP Max up on the one-way ledge you weren't previously able to reach. Before you jump down, though, be sure to check out the Hidden Grotto found right by the edge of the water.

Alright, that's all there is to do in the inside of the Pinwheel Forest. Head back to the road however you wish and then back to the Twins at the southern part of the area, then exit into the outer section of Pinwheel Forest.

Right near the exit from the forest, you'll be able to head south into the grass or north on over to Nacrene City. Unless you're in a hurry, you might as well check out the southern part, as there are a few items and Pokemon you can run into there, not to mention Trainers.
The first Trainer you'll have to fight moving south is a School Kid. She uses an Oddish L60, aTangela L60, and a Bellossom L60. Before you proceed much further south, head east of the School Kid to walk behind the fence. That leads you over to a Full Heal.
Head south of the School Kid and you'll find a Battle Girl, although she won't battle you. Walk on over to the east to find a Protein sitting by the trees. Keep going south from the Battle Girl and you'll eventually find a huge puddle of water with some thick grass over to the west. The Ace Trainer in there uses a Furret L63, a Braviary L63, and a Seismitoad L63. North of him is aNugget while south of him is an HP Up. There's also a hidden Max Elixir in the giant puddle of water.
East of the puddle of water is another Ace Trainer. She uses a Linoone L63, a Mandibuzz L63, and a Toxicroak L63. Keep going east and up the steps to fight a Black Belt. He's got a TyrogueL61, a Scrafty L61, and a Makuhita L61. Additionally, there's a Battle Girl nearby who uses a Tyrogue L61, a Machop L61, and a Poliwrath L61. There's a valuable PP Max right between them, too, as well as a Hidden Grotto off in the northeast corner.

On top of that, the large rock you see in the middle of this little area can be chipped away by aFighting-type Pokemon of yours once per day. If you have one in your party, you'll be able to break part of the rock off and receive a Star Piece, which you can sell for some money. It's not too shabby doing this each day to raise some funds, particularly if you sell the Star Pieces to the ore maniac in Icirrus City.
Head down the northern flight of stairs until you see a ledge you can jump down. Before jumping down, though, pick up the hidden Fighting Gem right at the edge of the ledge. Now you can jump down it and return to the School Kid at the beginning of the area.
From the School Kid, head north this time and fight the second School Kid running around. He uses a Venonat L60, a Yanma L60, and a Venomoth L60. Keep heading past him and you'll arrive in Nacrene City. However, as soon as you enter, walk behind the fence and return in the outer part of the Pinwheel Forest to find a hidden Ultra Ball.
